Jiading Campus of Shanghai University Masterplan takes advantage of the waterfront and existing historical landscape nodes to create plazas, pockets, and a riverfront eco-promenade into a water-sustainable campus that inspires vibrant social and study life.
The Water Ring is the skeleton to connect the existing campus, future buildings and green space systems. Pedestrian-friendly new roads, new pocket spaces along the road closely related to surrounding buildings, and planting improvement strategies adapted to spatial functions not only significantly enhance the outdoor experience but enrich the comprehensive ecological health.
