The cottage landscape renovation project is located on a pine forest hillside in Baguio, a summer vacation paradise in the Philippines. Inspired by the local fog, volcanic rock, and woodland, the design uses the planting strategy under the ecological guidelines of the local Luzon tropical pine forest. Local materials and craftsmanship are included to create modern and elegant paving, signage, and lighting details. Welcome Court, Forest Living Room, and Pine Playground are newly designed, respecting the natural characteristics of the site. All together aim to create a healthy, cozy and sustainable life in the woods for the visitors.
