Siting HuoLandscape Designer
As a project manager at PLAT Studio, Siting Huo is interested in urban ecology and sustainable water management. She believes landscape design is not only creating appealing space, but important for growing social, cultural and ecological loops from a site. Her vision of designing ecological urban life was revealed in her 2014 St. Louis ASLA Student Award winning project, Release: Room for the Mississippi River.
Siting enjoys traveling by public transportation or by foot, and photographing with her old camera. It is her way to communicate with the nature, the city and her heart.
Prior to joining PLAT Studio, Siting obtained her MLA from Washington University in St. Louis, and BE in Landscape Architecture from Southeast University in Nanjing, China. She has MLA studio teaching experience as a faculty assistant at Washington University, and has professionally practiced in Shenzhen, China and St. Louis, MO, on various project scales.
