As a landscape designer Iris is interested in creating efficient systems in which people and environment interact in a positive way. She likes to research the history of a place and identify current issues to update the space as something both functional and relatable to people and the site’s history. She believes landscape architecture is about solving existing problems, changing landscape to fit people’s current needs, and improving the quality of life overall.
Iris is interested in creating sustainable and communal public spaces. Through her travels around the globe, she has been able to experience many cultures, and observe how people shape the environment and how the environment shapes people. With training in Landscape Architecture and Urban Planning she hopes to improve the everyday lives of people.
