As a landscape designer at PLAT Studio, Daniel Wang is interested in both urban design and detail-oriented place making projects. He is passionate about the integration of creating meaningful places and sustainable urban design. Daniel offers a multi-cultural design perspectives because of his professional experiences in Asia, Europe and North America. He cares about sustainable urban planning and design, post-industrial landscape, memorable spaces, social corridors and cultural landscape in our urban environment.Prior to PLAT Studio,
Daniel received his Master's degree in landscape architecture from the University of Washington and previously interned at Turenscape and Ager Group. His work has been recognized through the ASLA Student Honor Award in the Student Community Service category, WASLA Special Mention, and Mayifun Cup National Conceptual Design Competition, where he won Second Prize.
