As a landscape designer at Plat Studio, Ellen is passionate about planting design and how it can be used to enhance a space’s aesthetics and ecological value. She believes landscape architecture is a tool to empower people to engage in their environment and enjoys seeing that manifest through her various projects in the studio. Her training in the diverse city of London and experience in community consultation enable her to design through the lens of the public, creating places for both interaction and quiet.
Prior to joining Plat Studio, Ellen gained experience working on a variety of projects as a part of a multidisciplinary team at HTA Design focused on residential regeneration and large scale public realm design across the UK.
She received her Masters of Landscape Architecture at the University of Greenwich University in London after receiving her Bachelors at the University of California, Berkeley.
